  1. The difference between the total number of CD and pen-drives produced by the company together in the year 2008 and the number of keyboards produced by the company in the year 2006 is

  1. View Hint View Answer Discuss in Forum

From the given bar diagram , we see
Number of CD produced by the company in 2008 = 25000
Number of pen-drives produced by the company in 2008 = 30000
    Total number of CD and pen-drives produced by the company in 2008 = 25000 + 30000 = 55000
Number of keyboards produced by the company in the year 2006 = 15000
Required difference = Total number of CD and pen-drives produced by the company in 2008 - Number of keyboards produced by the company in the year 2006

    Correct Option: D

From the given bar diagram , we see
Number of CD produced by the company in 2008 = 25000
Number of pen-drives produced by the company in 2008 = 30000
    Total number of CD and pen-drives produced by the company in 2008 = 25000 + 30000 = 55000
Number of keyboards produced by the company in the year 2006 = 15000
Required difference = Total number of CD and pen-drives produced by the company in 2008 - Number of keyboards produced by the company in the year 2006
    ∴ Required difference = 55000 - 15000 = 40000

On the basis of given graph in question ,
    Total number of pen drives produced by the company = ( 15 + 7.5 + 15 + 30 + 17.5 ) × 1000 = 85000
Number of given years = 5

Average number of pen drives =
Total number of pen drives produced by the company
    Number of given years

    Correct Option: C

On the basis of given graph in question ,
    Total number of pen drives produced by the company = ( 15 + 7.5 + 15 + 30 + 17.5 ) × 1000 = 85000
Number of given years = 5

Average number of pen drives =
Total number of pen drives produced by the company
    Number of given years

Average number of pen drives =
    85000
    = 17000

  1. The total number of all products produced by the company in the year 2006 and 2008 together is

  1. View Hint View Answer Discuss in Forum

According to given bar graph , we have
    Total number of all products produced in 2006 = ( 10 + 7.5 + 15 ) × 1000 = 32.5 × 1000 = 32500
    Total number of all products produced in 2008 = ( 25 + 30 + 20 ) × 1000 = 75 × 1000 = 75000

    Correct Option: A

According to given bar graph , we have
    Total number of all products produced in 2006 = ( 10 + 7.5 + 15 ) × 1000 = 32.5 × 1000 = 32500
    Total number of all products produced in 2008 = ( 25 + 30 + 20 ) × 1000 = 75 × 1000 = 75000
    Total number of all products produced in 2006 and 2008 together = 32500 + 75000 = 107500
