According to question,
V always scored more than P.
V > P
P always scored more than Q.
P > Q
? V > P > Q
If R Score highest, we have
R >.......> T
If S Score highest, we have
S >.......> Q or S >.......> UCorrect Option: D
According to question,
V always scored more than P.
V > P
P always scored more than Q.
P > Q
? V > P > Q
If R Score highest, we have
R >.......> T
If S Score highest, we have
S >.......> Q or S >.......> U
If S ranks 2nd, R ranks 1st and T ranks lowest. The order V > P > Q will be followed. out of all the given options, only the arrangement given as per option (d)i.e., R > S > U > V >P > Q > T is possible. Clearly, options (a), (b) and (c) cannot follow . So option (d) is correct.

According to question,
V always scored more than P.
V > P
P always scored more than Q.
P > Q

According to question,
V always scored more than P.
V > P
P always scored more than Q.
P > Q
? V > P > Q
If R Score highest, we have
R >.......> T
If S Score highest, we have
S >.......> Q or S >.......> U
If S is ranked 6th and Q is ranked 5th , we have
O > O > O > O > Q > S > O
In this case, R will rank the highest and thus T will rank the least.
we have, R > O > O > O > Q > S > T
Also, the order V > P > Q will be maintained
The possible arrangement are
R > U > V > P > Q > S > T
or R > V > U > P > Q > S > T
or R > V > P > U > Q > S > T
Thus, option (d),i.e, U can be ranked third or fourth is true.
- If R is ranked second and Q is ranked fifth, which of these must be true ?

If R is ranked 2nd, S will rank 1st and Q or U lowest but Q ranks 5th. so, U ranks lowest. Also, the order V > P > Q will be followed.
∴ Arrangement
S > R > V > P > Q > T > U
1 2 3 4 5 6 7
Hence, 6th place will be occupied by T.
