θ is a positive acute angle and sinθ – cosθ = 0, then the value of (secθ + cosecθ) is :

sinθ – cosθ = 0
⇒ sinθ = cosθ
⇒ tanθ = 1 = tan 45°
⇒ θ = 45°
∴ secθ + cosecθ = sec 45° + cosec 45°
= 2 + 2 = 2√2
