A can complete a job in 12 days, while B can complete the job in 15 days. Both of them worked for 5 days, and the rest of the work was finished by C, If their total earning was ₹ 720. Find the wages of B?

Given in the question ,
| A can complete work in 1 day = | 1 | 12 |
| B can complete work in 1 day = | 1 | 15 |
They work together for 5 days = 5 | 1 | + | 1 |  = | 9 | 12 | 15 | 10 |
Remaining work done by C = 1 - 9/10 = 1/10
Now , A ,B and C will be paid in the ratio 1/12 : 1/15 : 1/10 = 5 : 4 : 6
or Rs 5k, Rs 4k and Rs 6k per day. Since A and B have worked for 5 days and C for days we have total wages = 25k + 20k + 6k = 720 ⇒ k = Rs 720/51.
So , the wages of B = 20k = 20
