The full form of ZNP is Zoram Nationalist Party. ZNP is a state political party in Mizoram India. It was founded in 1997 and headquartered in Treasury Square, Aizawl, Mizoram. Former MP Lalduhomais founder of Zoram Nationalist party. It was formerly known as Mizo National Front. The party won 2 seats in the state assembly in 2003 and 2008 elections. The symbol of ZNP is the sun (without rays)The Zoram National Party has now been merged with Zoram people's movement.
Zoram people movement is a political union shaped in Mizoram involving six parties Zoram Nationalist Party, Zoram Exodus Movement, Zoram Decentralisation Front, Zoram Reformation Front and Mizoram People's Party. In the 2018 state election, It arises as to the largest opposition political party and won 8 seats in the election.
