Single equivalent discount for a% and b% =		a + b -	a × b		%

Here , a = 20 , b = 10%

Single equivalent discount =		20 + 10 -	20 × 10		%
			100

Single equivalent discount = (30 – 2)% = 28%
∴ S.P. of article = (100 – 28)% of Rs. 900
⇒ S.P. of article = 72% × Rs. 900

S.P. of article = Rs.		900 × 72		= Rs. 648
