Direction: The bar-graph given below shows the percentage distribution of total expenditures of a company under various expense heads during 2013. Study the graph and answer the given questions.

  1. If the expenditure on advertisement is 2.10 million, then the difference between the expenditures on transport and taxes is

According to given bar graph , we have
Given , The expenditure on advertisement = 2.10 million
Percentage of the expenditure on advertisement = 15%
Percentage of the expenditure on taxes = 10%
Percentage of the expenditure on transport = 12.5%
Difference in percentage for expenditure on transport and taxes = 12.5 – 10 = 2.5%
∵ 15 % = $ 2.10 million

∴ 2.5% =
2.10 × 2.5
= $ 0.35 billion
