As per the given in question ,
CP of 1 cup = $ 10
∴ CP of 100 cups = $ 100 × 10 = $ 1000
If 10 cups are broken.
∴ SP of 90 cups = $ (90 × 11) = $ 990
Loss = CP of 100 cups - SP of 90 cups = $ (1000 – 990) = $ 10

∴ Loss percent =

× 100
CP of 100 cups

Loss percent =

× 100 = 1%
