Let. C.P. of 200 eggs be Rs. y,
If 38 eggs are broken , then
Remaining eggs = 200 – 38 = 162 eggs
S.P. of remaining 12 eggs = Rs 4.80

∴ S.P. of remaining 162 eggs = Rs.	1	(162 × 4.80)
	12

= Rs.			777.6		= Rs. 64.8
			12

∴ 108% of y = 64.8

⇒	y × 108	= 64.8
	100

⇒ y =	64.8 × 100	= Rs. 60
