Vandana can do a piece of work in 10 days. With the help of Ruchi, she can do the same work in 6 days. If they get ₹ 200 for that work, then what will be the share of Ruchi in the received remuneration?

Correct Option: D

Vandana's 1 day's work = 1/10
(vandana + Ruchi)'s 1 day work =1/6
∴ Ruchi's 1 day's work
= 1/6 - 1/10 = (10 - 6)/ (6 x 10) = 4 / 60 = 1/15

∴ Vandana's share : Ruchi's share
= 1/10 : 1/15 = 3/30 : 2/30 = 3 : 2

Ruchi's share = 2/5 x 200 = ₹ 80
