Direction: In each question below is given a statement followed by two assumptions numbered I and II. An assumption is something supposed or taken for granted. You have to consider the statement and the following assumptions and decide which of the assumption(s) is/are implicit in the statement.

  1. Statement
Government has decided to relocate all the factories from the city with immediate effect to reduce pollution.
    Assumptions
    I. Pollution in the city is being caused only because of the factories existing there.
II. People may be able to manage traveling daily to the relocated factories.
    1. if only assumption I is implicit
    2. if only assumption II is implicit
    3. if either Assumption I or II is implicit
    4. if neither Assumption I nor II is implicit
Correct Option: B

Assumption I is invalid because of the world only Assumption II is implicit as without considering this factor the relocation of factories would not make sense.
