approximate cost of 42 dozen of bananas ?

As per the given question , we know that
∵ 1 dozen = 12

⇒	1	dozen =	1	× 12 = 3

∵ Cost of 3 bananas = Rs. 2·35

⇒ Cost of 1 banana = Rs.	2·35

∴ Cost of 42 × 12 bananas =	2·35 × 42 × 12
	3

Cost of 42 dozen of bananas = Rs. 394·80
