( 17 )2 + 144 ÷ 18 = x
| ⇒ x = 172 + 144 × | ||
From equation Ⅱ.
( 26 )2 - 18 × 21 = y
⇒ y = 262 - 18 × 21
∴ y = 676 - 378 = 298
From above equations it is clear that correct answer is x < y .
