₹ 1290 is divided between A, B and C, so that A's share is 1¹/₂ times B's share and B's share is 1³/₄ C's share. What is C's share ?

A : B = 1¹/₂ = 3 : 2 = 3 x 7 : 2 x 7 = 21 : 14
B : C = 1³/₄ : 1 = 7 : 4 = 7 x 2 : 4 x 2 = 14 : 8
∴ A : B : C = 21 : 14 : 8
∴ C's share = [8/(21 + 14 + 8)] x 1290 = ₹ 240
